Ru Lee Kim

Co-Director

Ru Lee Kim is a junior studying International Studies and Political Science and is interested in international relations and political theory. Ru has interned at the United States Department of State twice- once as a virtual intern and the other as an economic officer intern - in Seoul, South Korea. Ru has been on the board for three semesters and is serving as one of the current co - directors for IU Funding Board. After graduation, Ru plans to work for a corporate company or pursue a PhD program in Political Science.

Charlotte Sundel

Co-Director

Charlotte Sundel is a Sophomore from Annapolis, Maryland majoring in Finance and Sustainable Business in the Kelley Honors program. She is excited to be Co-Director of the IU Funding Board, and is also involved in 180 Degrees Consulting, Alpha Kappa Psi business fraternity, and Alpha Omicron Pi. She loves traveling and hopes to study abroad in Copenhagen, Denmark during her Junior year.

Tanner Snider

Board Member

Tanner is a senior studying Finance, Economic Consulting, and Business Analytics in the Kelley School of Business. He has served the IU Funding Board for nearly four years now and also did one term as a co-director. Tanner has also been involved on campus as the co-founder and president of Crimson Consulting and as a Kelley Guide for the Kelley Office of Admissions. He studied abroad last spring in Hong Kong and will graduate this May before moving to Chicago to join McKinsey & Company as a Business Analyst. Outside of his academic and professional endeavors, Tanner is a licensed private pilot and enjoys riding horses on his family's farm in his hometown of Vincennes, Indiana.

Tanner Ellis

Board Member

Tanner Ellis is a junior studying finance with a minor in religious studies. He is currently in his sixth semester on the IU Funding Board and has loved watching it evolve to what the board is today. Tanner enjoys seeing groups from all different parts of campus come in and present on topics that help to further their careers, build them up as people, showcase their culture, or are just fun.

Pranathi Dandu

Board Member

Pranathi Dandu is a junior studying Informatics with a specialization in Business and a minor in Human Centered Computing. She grew up in grew up in Sunny Orange County, California and lived there for 13 years, and then moved to Hyderabad, India, where she completed the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. Pranathi loves playing basketball and discovering new music in her free time. She will be interning at EY in Los Angeles this upcoming summer, and she is super excited to be a part of her second semester on the Indiana University Funding Board.

Sabrina Gowda

Board Member

Sabrina Gowda is a senior majoring in environmental management and public financial management. She spends most of her time playing board games, watching HBO and making tea. Sabrina is very excited to be on funding board for her last year at IU, she values her contribution to support other student orgs and fun campus events.

Brandon Jonas

Board Member

Brandon Jonas is a Finance major at the Kelley School of Business. He has been a member of the Funding Board since his Sophomore year. Brandon also is a member of the Investment Banking Workshop at Kelley.

Pooja Sahni

Board Member

Pooja Sahni is a final year law student at Indiana University Maurer School of Law. She hails from New Delhi, India and went to Queen Mary University of London where she obtained her Bachelors in Law with Honors. Pooja is committed to the global legal profession, and believes than an opportunity to study law in an advanced legal system such as the US after having obtained a law degree from a leading law school in England has proven to be a wonderful opportunity for her to build on the strong foundations of legal education. She is deeply committed to pursuing legal education with a strong emphasis on comparative and transnational law, and hopes to pursue cross-border transactional work in the near future.

Omeed Malek

Board Member

Omeed Malek is a junior at Indiana University studying News Media and Marketing with a minor in Spanish language studies. Besides drawing surrealistic portraits and climbing tall trees in his free time, he hopes to eventually combine his interests in technology trends and news media to create a media company.

Olivia Owens

Board Member

Olivia is a freshman from Westfield, Indiana and pursuing a double major in International Relations and Central Eurasian studies with a certificate in the Turkish language and potentially a minor in Journalism. She aims to achieve a high level of fluency with the Turkish language along with learning in depth about its geopolitical power—both in the past and future. Her hope is to become well versed in Central Eurasian cultures and history so that she may take that knowledge and use it not only in the professional world but for travel and exploration as well. While she is still in the midst of discovering state and non-state career pathways for herself after graduation, she is leaning towards doing research for a political think tank, analyst department, research center, or newspaper. Olivia has a deep love of traveling, strong coffee, reading, and theatre.

Brett Roberts

Board Member

Brett Roberts is a sophomore studying Law and Public Policy in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs (SPEA). He is enrolled in the Accelerated Master's Program in SPEA which will allow him to receive his Bachelor of Science and Master of Public Affairs in just 5 years. A native Hoosier, Brett is interested in rural and community development specifically as it pertains to the state of Indiana and its evolving economy. After graduation, he hopes to continue in his passion for public service in state government.

Naomi Farahan

Board Member

Naomi Farahan is a junior in the College of Arts and Sciences with majors in Journalism and Jewish Studies. Last summer, she had a marketing internship in London at a non-profit organization focused on food security. She also studied abroad in Rome in the fall. After college, she hopes to attend law school. Her dream is to practice media and First Amendment law.

Emma Norris

Board Member

Emma Norris is a freshman studying International Studies with a thematic concentration in International Law and Human Rights. She is also pursuing a minor in Spanish and looks forward to studying abroad in Alcalá de Henares, Spain this summer. In her free time, Emma enjoys volunteering for the Middle Way House and working with UndocuHoosiers Bloomington to promote positive social change and the maintenance of human rights. After graduation, Emma plans on pursuing a law degree.
